Sharing Credentials via Password Manager

  1. Task Assignment Requirement:

    • Currently, you can only share credentials for Password Manager if your accountant has assigned you a specific task in the Work module.
  2. Identifying the Task:

    • When such a task is assigned, you will notice a yellow banner at the top of the Work module. This serves as a notification of the task.
  3. Recognizing Credential Requests:

    • Alongside the yellow banner, you will also see the tag “Credentials Requested” next to the relevant 3rd party application listed in the account listing. This tag indicates that your credentials are needed for that particular application.

Steps to Follow When You Receive a Credentials Request

  • Check the Work Module: Regularly review the Work module for any new tasks, especially if you are expecting a request for credentials from your accountant.
  • Respond Promptly: Upon receiving a credentials request, respond as soon as possible to avoid delays in the month-end close process.
  • Ensure Security: Use the Password Manager to securely share the requested credentials, ensuring that sensitive information is protected.
