Navigating Account Details in Smart Connect

Smart Connect offers detailed insights into your financial accounts, providing aggregate balance information and the ability to view individual account details. Understanding how to navigate these features is key to effectively managing your financial data. Below is a guide on how to access and interpret account balance details and how to navigate between different financial institutions and accounts within Smart Connect.

Understanding Account Balance Details

Smart Connect displays three Aggregate Cards at the top of its window, summarizing your financial status across all connected accounts:

  1. Cash Available:

    • Shows the total balance for all your connected non-credit card accounts.
  2. Credit Used:

    • Represents the total balance for all your connected credit card accounts.
  3. Net Cash:

    • Calculates the sum of your Cash Available minus Credit Used.

Viewing Individual Account Details

To delve into the specifics of an individual account:

  1. Access Smart Connect Module:

    • Click on the Smart Connect module in your portal.
  2. Select a Financial Institution:

    • Click on the name of the financial institution from the connections listing.
  3. Expand Account Details:

    • When the financial card expands, select the name of the account you wish to view.
  4. Use Date Filter:

    • Use the date filter to update the range of account details displayed in the Transactions card.

Note: To view these details, the account must be in a "Connected" status.

Navigating to Other Financial Institutions or Accounts

If you have multiple accounts within the same or different financial institutions, follow these steps to navigate:

Navigate to a Different Financial Institution

  1. Be in the Account Details Window:

    • Ensure you are in the Account Details window for a specific account.
  2. Select a New Institution:

    • Click in the Bank Institution field.
    • Select another financial institution from the dropdown list that appears.
  3. View Updated Details:

    • The window will update to show the new institution's details for the account listed in the Account field.

Navigate to a Different Account

  1. Access Account Details Window:

    • Start from the Account Details window of a specific account.
  2. Choose a Different Account:

    • Click in the Account field.
    • Select another account from the dropdown list that appears.
  3. Review Updated Information:

    • The Transactions card will refresh to show details for the selected account.
