Whether it's tracking financial thresholds or monitoring performance indicators, creating an alert on a widget ensures you are promptly notified of important changes.

Steps to Create a Widget Alert

  1. Select the Widget:

    • Navigate to the widget on your dashboard that you wish to set an alert for.
  2. Access Alert Settings:

    • Click the three dots in the upper right corner of the widget.
  3. Initiate Alert Creation:

    • Choose "Create Alert" from the dropdown menu.
  4. Check Application Support:

    • A pop-up window will appear. It will either:
      • Allow you to proceed with creating an alert, indicating the application supports this feature.
      • Inform you that the application does not support creating an alert. In this case, you can close the popup window, as creating an alert will not be possible.
  5. Configure Alert Settings:

    • If the widget supports alerts, fill in the necessary fields in the pop-up window. This might include setting thresholds, conditions, or specific metrics to trigger the alert.
  6. Create the Alert:

    • After configuring the settings, click the "Create Alert" button.
  7. Finalize Your Dashboard:

    • Refresh your screen to update your dashboard with the newly created alert.

Completing the Alert Setup

  • Dashboard Update: Once you refresh your screen, your dashboard should reflect the new alert on the selected widget.
  • Successful Creation: You have now successfully set up an alert for your widget.
