You can choose from predefined options or set a custom range. Additionally, how the data is displayed—daily, weekly, or monthly—can significantly impact your analysis. Below are the steps and options for adjusting the dashboard date range in Business Insights.

      Configuring Date Range

      1. Predefined Date Range:

        • This option allows you to quickly select from a set of predefined ranges:

        • If the predefined options do not meet your needs, you can select a custom date range.
        • Use the date picker to choose a specific start and end date.
        • Upon selection, the predefined filter is replaced with the word “Custom,” indicating your tailored date range.

        Display Options Based on Date Range

        Depending on the date range you choose, you can view the data in your widgets in the following formats:

        1. Daily:

          • Data for each individual day is displayed for the selected date range.

        2. Weekly:

          • Data is grouped in 7-day increments, starting from Monday, for the selected date range.

        3. Monthly:

          • Data is grouped into calendar-month increments for the selected date range.

        Real-Time Updates and Data Interaction

        • Automatic Updates: Once you set your filters to your desired selections, the widgets on your dashboard update in real time to reflect the changes.
        • Data Exploration: For some widgets, you can explore individual data points by hovering your mouse over the details in the widget. This interaction might provide tooltips, additional information, or finer details about specific data points.

        • Hover for Details: In certain widgets, hovering over data elements can reveal more specific information, which is useful for gaining deeper insights from visual representations.
